I'm sharing this wall hanging NOT because I'm thrilled with my workmanship...it's one of the first things i ever did with applique and also one of the first quilting projects I did after a few crazy square patch quilts that I did when I was a kid. What I wanted to show you is how cute the wall hanging COULD BE and someday I plan to make it again and correct the mistakes I made on this one. I think I got the pattern off the Internet ...maybe McCalls site??...let's try this again, I forgot to attache the picture. :oops: :oops: I'm having trouble posting the picture. Will keep trying under a new message to see if that'll do it. Sorry! :cry:

That is so cute! I have that pattern but its in a book called "The Cat's Meow" Its nothing but cat quilts!!! The whole book is on"THE LIST" :lol:

Thank you, MGShaw for the heads up on where else the pattern can be found. I didn't get it out of a book...I know i got it off the internet but don't know where. When I have some time I'll check it out. |

That is a very cute idea Feathers and if that is your first applique, you did a great job...wayyyyy better than mine anyway! NO WAY I would post my first attempts :roll:

Thank you guys. Just went through my quilt patterns and found the 4 kitties pattern (I've been calling it 3 kitties??? :oops: :oops: ...I can count but maybe not well. :lol: It's going to take a couple messages to give you the directions. Bear with me and don't laugh at my drawings.

Ok, I think this is everything. On my pattern it doesn't say where I got the pattern. I know I got it off the internet butI don't think they gave me a way to copy so I did my own "art" work diagrams. I hope if any of you use this pattern you'll post the pictures. Would love to see how others do the hanging.

I went to amazon and got a used copy of the book' the cats meow quilting ' ;for 6 dollars..........can't lose ; full of kitty patterns :D
