This is a wall hanging that I put together when my daughter was serving in Afghanistan 3 years ago. I finished the top and even spray basted it back then. I never got the quilting done. Now that she's in Iraq for another year I decided that I Had to get this done before she comes home. She won't be home until September but now I can hang it in our Church's Mother's day quilt show and then in my window until she gets back. I am still a newby at freehand free motion quilting, (which is why it waited so long to be quilted)

the wall hanging is beautiful and you did a wonderful job on the quilting! I am just not any good at that, I know practice helps but I think you have to have a knack for it too.
