4 new quilts
 

I've been busy trying to finish more quilts.

This one is Penguin Sweets. The pattern is for a wall hanging. I wanted it to be a lap quilt so I enlarged the pattern 150%, then reversed the pattern for 4 of the penguins. As you can see I still have to add sashing & borders.

This is Monkey Madness. Pattern is in the Fons & Porter Love of Quilting, January/February 2013. I added the blue border because I wanted it a little larger.

The outside border is sock monkey fabric. How perfect is that! I found some flannel for the backing that also has monkeys on it.

Can't find my pattern & cannot remember the name of this one. Maybe it's time to clean my sewing room. It too was a wall hanging that I enlarged to make it a lap quilt.

These are some cute little thread catchers I made for some of my quilting buddies. They are made with 2 - 9 1/2" triangles with iron on interfacing on both pieces.

LOVE love your winter themed quilts. I've made a couple of those thread catchers too, your fabrics/colors are great!

So I am trying to pick a favorite, and I think I must pick the monkey one! That backing fabric will be PERFECT!! You've been quite busy! All of the quilts are awesome!!
