This was the starter for my quilting hobby. I started this in July at my sisters' gathering. I didn't really like it (very bright) at first. Now I do. Really need to work on my binding technique. All will come in time - I hope.

It's a beauty. You're on your way. I see a lot of gorgeous quilts in your future.

Looks Great...I have tried bindings many ways...still looking for that magical binding...Bindings are a pain...but its getting easier. I do like machine binding the best.

The yellow and black look great together.
|
Very very nice, I relly do like the colors. Am curious, why is it called a tube quilt?
|
Great job. Love the colors. Can I ask what is the pattern name?[/quote]
This is something my oldest sister showed me - no real pattern. I thought I saw a tutorial on it somewhere. Maybe I can get my sis to explain it. Really easy. |

I used a total of six strips of 2,3, and 4 inch strips, which is why mine is variable sized strips. |

Love your quilt top. I still have some tube blocks and I still don't know how to put them together, waiting for ideas.
