As some were asking I took pictures through the making of the last cover

I made a pattern out of muslin, this time in one piece instead of three and cut shapes for a fishtank and planed the layout

picking fitting fabric

the fish and the seashells are made with the embroidery machine, the rest cut out by hand and all glued to the fabric and then appliqued with the sewing machine

ta daaa.......I will add the binding tomorrow

I made a sandwich with leftover batting (two layers) and quilted by machine

with the muslin pattern I cut it in shape and closed the sides

Love the sewing machine cover. I haven't seen the others but I'm going to look them up since you said you posted pics of them. Wish I had the measurements to make a sewing machine cover for my machine. You did an outstanding job on this one.

O Granny, this is so cute! Is it possible to give us a tutorial on the making of the cover? Each one can decorate it by themself, but the making of the cover. Please??? I can see the material and batting is cut in a T shape, but then I can't imagine further. Please Granny, please? LOL

hi Rina

I am so bad with computerstuff. Just "marked" the T - shaped piece of fabric. You have to make a little cut in the corner where the middle marking is and sew together to the other two markings. There you make again a little cut into the seamallowance of the long piece of the t- shape and close the rest. Do the same thing on the other side. Hope this helps, you might want to try with a piece of paper the get a t- shape into a box.
