I took a class for this one. You select your border (focus) fabric first then pull alot of different fabrics to coordiante/compliment(1/4yd) each - cut into 6" squares. After stitching, cutting, pressing, stitching, cutting and pressing again, you wind up with two different 9 patch blocks. After many many block sewn together, you wind up with a great scrappy looking 9 patch quilt. I even had a few left over to make a baby quilt. The queen sized quilt pictured I gave to a friend for a house warming gift, she loved it.[b]

My kind of quilt! When I first opened the page I was thinking, 'hum how to make a three hour quilt?'. One look told me I was dead wrong. It's beautiful Vicky; did you take a picture of the baby quilt as well?
