This is for a lady who will celebrating her 80th next month. Her year of birth therefore 1930, I thought of using Thirties fabrics to make a table runner - she likes entertaining friends to tea.
Enjoyed making it, hope she likes it too!

I've known the lady 20 years, she is amazing so much energy and "go" and a good friend - you would think when you meet her she is early 60s-ish. Very with it & fun loving and throwing a party for the birthday, which everyone is looking forward to, it will be lively for sure.
