All AAQI quilts need names. Any suggestions for this little one? 9P squares are just little bits otherwise thrown away.

Well you alternating block is the hourglass block, so I thought "Sand Through the Hourglass" I mean those pieces are so tiny they could be the sand! Lovely little quilt! Thanks for sharing. I've been thinking of sending in a couple little quilts myself.

Sorry oksewglad, I can never think of names for quilts. But, it sure is adorable. Such tiny pieces. Love some of the suggestions tho.

And I do like QuiltNNan's "Checkered Past" Keeping with the Little Bits, and Tiny Bits ... what about "Tid Bits"? or "Itsy Bitsy Bits"? Or I could let tonight's supper menu inspire the name of "Leftovers, Again!" :) Regardless, it's a treasure for the AAQI!! :) |

I'm really leaning towards the "May I have this Square Dance?", but I can see Squares Squared for another quilt of a different pattern. Thanks all for the kinds words. I have 5 little ones ready to register and 4 to quilt and bind Want to send them all at once so had better get them finished!

Wow! Nine at once?
I think Tiny Bits would be a good name. You many not believe this, but I just planned a little quilt made up of hourglass blocks and snowball blocks, I love the large on point squares that come out with hourglass squares in alternate blocks. Good work! |

Yeah, both Snowball and Hourglass are great connector blocks. Here's a larger quilt like this little one I made eons ago back when I still HQ'd. Squares on 1/2 and sewing not near as good![ATTACH=CONFIG]319143[/ATTACH]
