Gorgeous! I love the black background fabric.
I do have the book but I found out I don't like needle turn applique and I have no idea how it looks with machine applique. I guess not as good as needle turn! |
Great job! :) I really love your version of block #11 it looks fantastic. It's nice to see some else still working on the AOTH. I have finished 14 blocks (not in order of the book) and am doing mine on black too.
What size blocks are yours? Did you enlarge them or are you doing the 7" Blocks like in the book? |

Very nice, Joy. I have all 36 blocks fused on the main fabric blocks ( done in end of April/first of May), but haven't had the time to do one single stitch on them. I have been working on quilts for clients. I am working on the final "client" quilt right now and all I have left to do now is the quilting and the binding on it.....as soon as it's finished, I plan to get back to "Affairs of the Heart". I had planned to have it finbished and entered into our local quilt show this November, but not sure I'll get it that far along...there's always next year tho!
Keep up the good work. If I ever get back to mine and get the applique' stitches done, I'll start posting the finished blocks...or maybe I'll just post the top when I finish it..... Hugs |
