The decorative stitches add the perfect touch. I love it.

Smashing, love the embroidery stitches you did. My machine does alot of stitches, I'm going to have to remember to use them. Thanks for posting.

Thanks everyone! Polly, I used both King Tut (40wt) and Sulky Blendables (30wt) on the covers. I have not done a tutorial because the pattern is not mine, it's IJ882 by Indygo Junction.

I love this!!! I think you've posted these before but I can't find the posts/pics now. Checked out your blog too! I know you sew with Berninas and my little Brother is far from those but wondered what thread you use. It looks a bit thicker than "regular" cotton or cott/poly thread. Have you done a tute for these? I'd like to make one for my Kindle 3 but the construction would need to be a bit different than the books, I think. Not sure where to start but there may be tutes somewhere for these. I just love your doodle books and love the look of them with the dec stitches!! Polly

What a beautiful doodle book. Those getting them will love them. I will have to keep this idea in mind for my family in the future. Thank you for sharing with us.
