I found this at a church rummage sale for $3.00! I can join the 2012 UFO Challenge as I now have an UFO! I'm sure this will be a charity quilt. My question is do I finish it as is and give it away when a need occurs , or take a good part of it apart and redo (most of the corners are off) and then it could be sold or raffled to raise funds for a charity. I don't really like the pattern, but had to rescue.

If you don't like the pattern, I wouldn't bother taking it apart. That sounds like a lot of work. I would just finish it up and donate it to a women's center or somewhere like that. A great buy for $3. Peggy

If it lays flat and can be quilted I wouldn't take it apart. I am chair of our guild's charity quilt committee and receive some quilts that sometimes need seams repaired and sometimes they don't lay flat enough for our longarmers to quilt and then they have to be redone. I think sometimes people get discouraged and quit on them so they show up as donations to us.

If you don't like it , do not spent the amount of time it would take to take it apart and then resew. I agree with the others if you can get it to lay flat , just quilt it and donate.

I think the same as everyone else.....do not mess with trying to take it apart....just finish as best you can and donate!

I agree with the above quilters. Finish it and donate it to a worthy cause. pat

I would also just finish it up and donate it to a worthy cause. Even if it is not perfect, someone will just love it!
