That's really a beaut!

Not sure about the fleece either. But I love the 3D effect on the quilt. Great job.

Love the quilt, I like the 3-D effect. Can't comment on fleece for backing. I would finish it like a regular quilt with the batting and a nice backing.

That is beautiful. Love the pattern. I don't know about the fleece.

Heel mooie Maksi! (that may be wrong, Hans isn't here to ask! ) But I mean it's very beautiful! :D

I don't know about the fleece. Do you mean you want it extra fluffy? If so you could use a wool wadding (batting to the American ladies! :D )

Yes, warm, cosy and fluffy. I wonder if I get that with fleece. But maybe is flannel better and a thin batting inbetween?

Will you be machine quilting or hand? I've never quilted fleece but I HAVE flannel and it quilts beautifully. I use Warm and Natural cotton as wadding for bed quilts. It's, well, warm and natural! But I also find it the most stable of the cotton waddings I've tried. :D I'm currently hand quilting a bed quilt with wool wadding and it's really lovely to quilt - the effect is really fluffy but still light. It wasn't cheap though - I saw it onsale in Holland for 65 euros queensize, so I ordered online from the UK, I think it was around 40 euros. :D But of course it comes in smaller sizes. It was Hobbs.
