Those are so sweet!!! I love minky for baby quilts. Nothing else seems as soft and cuddly. And congrats on the upcoming grandbaby!
|
I don't see any pics. :-)
|
Oh, that is just way too cute. Beautiful and all ready for your grandbaby. Love the bunny too. June will be here before you know it. The lucky little girl will love it.
|
Ok...now I got the pictures in there...Sorry..
|
Very nice!! My first grandbaby is due in May and I have been so bad, I havn't made anything yet, except a couple of nursing covers.
What did you make your burp cloths out of? I was thinking about making some with flannel on the front and maybe terry cloth on the other side. Or flannel on one side and a nice print on the other. Mine is supposed to be a boy. |

Oh my, how cute! I love the minkee. Great work!
|
Lovely gifts for your new grandbaby.
|
Very pretty, I hope it is a girl, so she can enjoy all these pretty things.
Our oldest Granddaughter turned 24 today. She is the light of my life. |
So cute! I know you're excited. Get some rest while you still can!
|
I just used flannel on both sides. I taped two pieces of computer paper together and traced a dessert plate on each end and then just drew the curved line to connect the lines, to make the pattern. It was so easy. I did put batting in the middle, but I am not sure you would have too. When I was making them, my husband came in and said that my son in law wouldn't like the flowers. So I made the camo cloths for him...

They are all so cute !! I'm with you, I'm expecting my first grandchild in May. They don't want to know if it's a boy or girl, they want to be surprised !!

I'm not sure they would need batting but flannel would make them more absorbent than regular cotton fabrics. |

Very Cute...

Really cute gifts waiting for her. My grandson was supposed to be a girl. I made the cutest quilt for a girl. Kept it and when my granddaughter had a girl--10 years later, she got it. It had been kept in a cedar chest. Yep, had to get a boys quilt done for the grandson!

Thanks for all of your comments! I have really enjoyed making small things...Its fun to see finished products faster than some of my other bigger projects that take so much time.
