I designed and made this quilt for a girlfriend of mine. She actually went into labor about an hour after I dropped the finished quilt off at her house. Her daughter was born shortly after.

The back is that wonderful cuddle fabric that is SOOOO soft! I quilted duckies in each of the squares. I ended up using a cookie cutter and tracing around it for the template. After this one, I signed up to take a machine quilting class because I didn't do as good a job as I would have liked.

I only had the top done at her baby shower, so I took it with me to purchase the back fabric and I left it at my sister's house... three hours away. By the time I got the top, she was PAST her due date. I never quilted so fast.

Not at all. I made it on EQ6. I can send you the measurements if you would like them.

(I actually was asked by a quilting company - at an expo my sister and I had a booth at - if I wanted to sell this pattern to them. They said I would make a $1.00 off each pattern sold, up to $500. I am still considering it.)
