I just saw this and your other post regarding quilted postcards. Is there a link on how to make these? I think they'd be a fun thing to send to friends and family.

I kind of figured out how to make the postcards by trial and error. I use them for quick birthday cards or get well cards for special friends. I also make a lot of greeting cards using paper peiced and quilted or embroderied pictures. I have lots of cards to send since I am a Deacon in our church. Now we always send our Christmas greetings with quited cards.

Sun Bonnet greeting card, paper pieced and framed in a 2 " cutout frame. I used card stock and printed words with computer.

Wow Barb those are amazing! Nothing at all like I thought. I bet your Christmas mailings are quite well received!

I've made lots of postcards with paperpiecing designs and I have been using the canvas material you use when making drapes to pleat the tops for the backing for the sandwich. I quilt the sandwich and then fasten the postcard back with binding strips. It does cost more to send them in the mail because they need to be hand canceled. It is fun to hear people's reactions when they receive one in the mail. .
