bare essentials bag - a small one

I've been looking for a pattern for a small purse and this fit the bill. It has an outside pocket and two interior ones. The magnet closure is backed by pellon so it feels more sturdy than others I've made. I added the tissue holder after seeing it on another thread. The pattern includes a fabric flower for the outside, but I'm not making that yet. (Don't think my daughter would like it, but it's cute!)

Pattern: Bare Essentials Bag http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=...A533AA&first=1
Size: 7 X 8.5
Fabric needed: 1/2 yd for outside and a fat quarter for lining. It also uses fusible batting and interfacing.

It took about 7 hours to make this, but I've cut out several more and plan to make them assembly line style. I'm hoping to get it down to just a few hours for each one.

I like that you made the tissue holder to match. Very snazzy!

I love this...i must carry controllers for an upper and lower dorsal nerve stimulator. Ive made a few purses, but being one not to carry one, i leave it behind a lot.
i could make this one on a long strap wear it cross body and never forget it again.
Thanks

That looks like an easy thing for me to tackle...and very cute. How much would you charge for one of those...hint, hint.
This would be great when I go to flea markets, garage sales, etc.
