Batik French Braids done!!!
 

I have decided that this is MY quilt. I usually donate all of my quilts (with maybe 2-3 exceptions) ... but I just love this quilt!

I still have to add more brown fabric around the edges so that it actually covers the whole bed, and then the border itself.

I have also decided that I'm going to "birth this quilt" and then try and FMQ it myself (LOL ... I learned a new term on here and the letters FMQ)

And a MASSIVE thank you to MANIACQUILTER because without her I wouldn't have found the rest of the batik to finish the quilt!!!!

I like that you put your braids sideways on the bed. I did that with mine too.
