They'll get two books each--and these. :D Both sides have strips. It was a bit bulky to steam-a-seam, but I was able to cover their interests better. I'll go back to single fabric backs now.
Their interests include: soccer, football, baseball, cats, dogs, horses, snails, frogs, butterflies, nature. And, to remember their 5th grade year, I put some red, white, and blue on every one--to remember the historic election year and the beloved Election Journal project. Lisa--do you see the three with braids you so kindly sent me? Those are really cool! What a great thing to do for your students! Fabulous!!!!
Wow -- those are really neat -- your "kids" will love them!!!

OMG these are so outrageously cool.
What a nice idea Karla! Hope you all have a nice time.

Nice job....you've got this down pat....
