My friend Dorothy and I collaborated on these bookmarks. I designed them Dorothy crosstitched them and I put borders on and backed them like a quilt. I learned to crossstitch 30 years ago but Ijust don't have the time.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I have a lot of favorites unfortunately the ones I like the most are the ones that are more complicated are the ones Dorothy didn't like doing. She had "issues" with some of the small sections! Imagine that! But I am hoping to talk her into doing a couple of my favorites again.

She didn't like the flower in the middle of the Sampler but I love that one. It is also one of my favorites and I may try to get her to make me one that I may keep( I never keep anything but I did keep a checkbook cover recently)

I sell my stuff to a local gift store. Dorothy does a lot of my prep work for me. She makes the "Blocks" for me and does some strip work for me. Then I get to sit down and play!!

I'll tell you she is awesome! She makes hundreds of these blocks for me(1 12/" and 1 1/4" and 1") in about a weeks time! She is a widow and has time on her hands. Here is an example of what she makes for me. I have 55 organizers that she keeps full.
I agree I don't know how I would ever do without her! She saves me so much time!! And she is always trying to convince me to try new things and new colors!

One time her gd told her it looked like she had made at least 1000. When she delivered them to me I counted them . She had made 3450 of them in one go!!!

Now you all know my secret!! I have a fairy godmother!!!
