My MIL gave me 4 hardback quilting books, one soft back book and a quilt novel. Then she gave me a card with $40. She knows me too well. After looking at the books all evening I just had to buy fabric. I headed to Walmart the next day where a lot of their cottons are marked down to $.75 - $3.00. I bought 25 yds of fabrics. Yes, that was more than the $40 but hey, it's my birthday and Mother's day so, who's counting!
