I was given 7 yards of this.. it is so so bright.. I would love to put it in a queen size quilt for my bedroom to brighten it up... trying to find a pattern that will sort of tone it down a little..

anyone got any suggestions..

Lots of black will help.

It is BRIGHT! - pretty! How about choosing a pattern and using coordinating solids with the print as an accent?

You could fussy cut the flowers and applique them to blocks........I'm kidding!!

I did a warm wishes type quilt with that kind of fabric and I loved it. You could make the three strip with quiet fabrics or even a solid. I wish I had gotten a picture before I gave it away.

yellow brick road, use a little in the quilt and a large border. or 7 yds would make a backing.

Or use the lovely print for alternate squares and border.

I think it would look pretty with big blocks and sashings in black.

I have at least a yard of solid of the light yellow, the gold and two different pinks that match... the pinks are actually very small prints that look solid from any distance.. only up close can you see the slight variance in color of the print. HAve a Black with small white stars.. and green that would blend

Thought about alternating strips... the flowers.. the one of the solids.. then the flowers.. etc.. or flowers and two solids the back to flowers.. what ever it took.. also though about a large center panel.. with blocks or strips.. set on point.. the a small border of a green border.. then a wide border of the flowers... center panel points intersection the green and into the flower border..

I think it would be awesome to make a kaleidoscope quilt and use a wide border of the same fabric. Perhaps use black as the background to have the kaleidoscope blocks float.
