Bright Pinwheels finished
 

I finished Bright Pinwheels last night including an embroidered label (a first for me.) Today I washed it and tomorrow I will deliver it to my friends who are gifting it to their new great nephew. I wasn't really sure about the mother's choices of color, but it grew on me as I worked on it. This is my first paid quilt job so I am really hoping they like it.</SPAN></SPAN>

love it ! like the tags along the inner border too.. how did you quilt this? trying to figure out where you ran.. through the pinwheels in the ditch? love the colors!

Chairjogger - I did SID through the pinwheels and 1/4" from the edge of the first border. I used a poly batting so did not quilt beyond the prairie points. I love doing prairie points and may have to find another pattern to use them.

What size is the quilt? I have pinwheels blocks (10" X 10") and I planned on making one 5 rows X 6 rows. I think I have changed my mind ...... when I saw yours. Thank you for sharing!

What a wonderful quilt and the prairie points just make it pop! I am sure the little one will love those points too. The fabric is perfect as it provides a lot of visual movement.

Very pretty quilt and excellent job of quilting in the ditch. Q in the D gives me fits, so many misses and they stand out like a sore thumb. Hope you are very proud of this quilt.

Forgot to add that the pattern is in Moda Bake Shop. It measures 31 by 40 inches.
