Although she graduated in 2007, her quilt is finally done. It's HUGE! 96 x 121. I did the binding by hand in 3 days. One day I did one long side and one short side. The next 3 days my hand, wrist and arm hurt so bad I couldn't stand it. (Prior injuries.) I made pillowcases to match. Finally, I gave it to her yesterday. (4 years after graduation due to a heart attack, open heart surgery, deer accident)

That is a gorgeous, gorgeous quilt. The colors are stunning in that design. Think of it like this, she is older and will appreciate it more. It is just so gorgeous.

Love it. Perfect no matter how long ago she graduated

Really beautiful. I like everything in it!

What a stunning quilt! She will treasure it even more because you still managed to create it for her after all you had to go through.
It will always be a reminder for her to just keep trying. |
Brittany will simply love it! It's just beautiful!!!!!!
|
What a lucky gal Brittany is to receive such a gorgeous quilt!
|
Deer accident???? Sounds both interesting and scary. Your quilt is beautiful. I know Brittney loved it.
|
I'm sure she loved it and the time wouldn't matter just the fact you are still here to give it to her. I hope your health is better now.
|
It's beautiful...surely worth the wait.
