I hope she loves it. Certainly merits love.

I didn't use a given pattern - just went from a photo I had seen. Made the center blocks 7 1/2" and sashed them in 4 different cream prints of 2 1/2" then set them on point and added borders. Not too hard to do and I really am pleased with the outcome. It was my first time setting blocks on point.

What a wonderful quilt! I love the focus fabric, and I love the subtle difference between the sashing of the blocks and the background fabric. You did a fantastic job. Would you please post the pattern information. Thanks.

I love this! Love the way you outlined the blocks so that over all, it is both calm and vibrant! Your friend will be so pleased...and surprised!

You've got a lovely quilt and I'm sure she will be pleased.

Glad that my quilt helped inspire you with yours .... they're almost twins!

Great innovations on your part!
In another quilt I made with this same pattern, there's butterflies FMQ

Fabric? .... for those looking, it was from a few years ago. I do remember seeing it in one of the online fabric sites in the last yr or so. However, the same company came out with a re-make that was almost identical last year. Sorry, I don't know the details ... though there may be some info in the above thread where I used the leftovers from the quilt below .....

(also with butterfly FMQ!) :D

Glad you liked it ... and perhaps others have some to show too?

This is just stunning. Very simple design but the end result is just beautiful. That is the nice thing about quilting, sometimes it doesn't have to be real complicated to be eye catching. Good job.
