This picture was in a magazine subscription offer I had received in the mail. I really would love to know what pattern this is and where could I find it. It is similar to the card trick pattern, I think.

I see that Sadiemae came up with the answer! Isn't this a great board?

If you study it and turn your head sideways, it looks like a very carefully laid out and pieced 4 patch on point, with setting triangles.

Isn't that what they call a four patch? you sew two strips together, cut two strips from that and then sew those two together in the opposite direction.

You could do it this way easily, or a rectangle and square of each color and background squares on point. Then it is the way it is laid out to make the pattern.

You could also look for "Cheap Trick" by Miss Rosie's Quilt Co. I bought one on this board.

Designer for this pattern is Rachel Shelbourne, whose mother is Darlene Zimmerman (feedsacklady.com). Rachel made the quilt in batiks, and Darlene made the quilt in the 1930's prints that Darlene designs for Robert Kaufman.
