Would you share a peak at your favorite fabric from your stash? The one that you wouldn't want to give to your best friend. That piece that excites you like a new quilter again. The one that you are anxiously waiting for the perfect project for.

Most of mine is in storage until we move, but for now this recently aquired OOP is the one I'm looking for the perfect quilt pattern for.

I just love the color combinations, the brightness & the weight.
Yes, I think I'll save a piece for a purse too. (The girls are @ 4 1/2" tall)

You are SO right about that piece of fabric! Don't know if I have any in my stash that have that effect on me. LOL!

That is a nice piece. It would make a great purse.

What about a bow tuck?

sewmuchmore 07-26-2010 11:25 AM

I actually have 3. they each have sunflowers on them. I am hoping some day to have enough of them all or other sunflower fabric to make a king size quilt. These don't even go in my stash they have their own special place. i used a pen to tell the size of the sunflowers.

Very nice! I like to see those special pieces that are near and dear to us. Thank you for sharing.

first thing I thought when I saw it was...a purse...I really like it. Make sure you show us what you decide on. :hunf:

Pretty piece!
I think my favorites are the ons with cats....I collect them in a special box! I CANNOT walk away from a new fabric with cats, even if I only get a tiny piece!

Have you thought about Warm Wishes? You would fussy cut the girls, and then frame them with colors out of your fabric.

Will post mine when I get home this afternoon....don't have time to dig it out at the moment (assuming I know where I hid it from DH! :))

 It's probably in one of those places so well hidden that you actually ended up hiding it from yourself! Been there, done that!

I have a small collection of snowflake fabrics that I am wanting to do something with, just don't know what that "something" is. Blue is my favorite color and they all have blue in them, so I may be partial to this collection because they have my favorite color. :) Until I figure that out, they stay together in my fabric pile.

My favorite is 1.50 yards of this sneaker fabric.

Trying to get up my nerve to fussy cut and make a quilt using wonky block tutorial Bevanger posted.

I know it's just fabric, but I love it so much that I can't bring myself to cut into it LOL

I freely admit to a Moda fabric obsession! I just told my DH the other day that I find I have a hard time cutting it up for projects. I love to look at it & touch it & dream up new quilts - but to actually cut my fabric up is another story altogether! LOL!

That is adorable. What size are the sneakers? I love that!

Beth33 07-31-2010 03:18 PM

not all the same size - some about 5" wide, some around 3", and some in-between that.
