Quiltingboard Forums - Challenge....My Entry....Garden Delights

I belong to a couple other online "guilds" (thats what I like to call these message boards!) and I entered into a Challenge on one of them......well, today was the final voting day for this challenge ....and I WON!!!! :D

I've had this done for awhile but just in case (you never know) somebody from that message board might also belong to this one...I didn't dare post a pic of my finished project til now!

There were 14 entries altogether and I still can't believe I won! there were some pretty awesome results! Here was the challenge....we were all sent a F8 (1/8th of a yard of the same fabric). and we were to come up with a small project....wallhanging, pillow, etc. using a that fabric mailed out by the hostess of the "challenge" and any amount of other fabric we needed.

Well, here is what I came up with and believe me...there were some absolutely beautiful results from all the other contestants using this fabric....I will post a pic of the challenge fabric too ....this was so much fun. I can't post pics of the others, but I couldn't wait to share what I did with mine. Even before I knew I won, I wanted to show you but couldn't! LOL I had alot of fun doing this!

The gal that ran this challenge was just wonderful! She did it all on her own I think ... and I didn't even know for sure there was a "prize" until today....she announced my "prize package" will be mailed to me.... I can't wait ! LOL I'm like a little kid! So exciting! I've never entered anything I ever made in a fair or anything so this is a first for me!
