This is the second quilt I've done, and as soon as I get it washed, it will be joining quilt number one and going off to Quilts for Kids. It is meant to be for the NICU, so I wanted to make it really bright and cheerful. It's definitely bright. I started with the NICU quilt pattern on the Quilts for Kids website and made a few modifications for things I wanted to try - like the wonky nine-patch blocks.
Now that I've done the Q4K projects I planned to do, and got a lot of good practice doing them, I can't wait to do a couple of projects for my family. I am having so much fun quilting! Next up is our Christmas Tree skirt... |
