Chasing Wholeness in Koi Ponds
2 Attachment(s)
I just finished this quilt cover and can now cross off the Oriental Garden design from my bucket list, which is rather long since I only first started to quilt 5 months ago. I am now debating on finding a LA to quilt the top ( don't know if its good enough for the expense ) or just do it myself as I have done with my other quilts - by sewing machine. Your thoughts?
BTW, A big thank- you goes out to Yarn or Fabric who gave me a heads on the erroneous pattern measurements. |
Beautiful top! I would do a water meander in the fish part and SITD ditch on the frames?

Beautifully done! Tartan's suggestions sounds like a good idea.
|
very nicely done

I am just finishing up the binding on one I did. Here is a link to the pictures of how I quilted it.
http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...n-t219655.html I have the luxery of a LA though so I could go as fancy as I wanted on this. Yours turned out beautifully. I love your Koi fabric. LAing can be reasonable if you choose an all over panto and I think this particular koi panto would look FABULOUS on this quilt: http://www.sweetdreamsquiltstudio.co...no-p-2745.html |
Oh I love it. I have a koi pond and just love to watch the fish.
