Here is a quick gift idea that uses up leftover fabric. Our local Salvation Army always has these round baskets for 50 cents each. The head and hands is just made from stuffed panty hose. The arms are just a stuffed tube. Run a quick gathering line for the "skirt" and glue it on.

I've also done a witch for Halloween.

What a Great gift idea. I have a neighbor who is a diabetic.....sew sweet treats are out of the question for the holidays. This adorable basket filled with a mixture of nuts...a matching tabletopper & a matching mug rug......solves my problem for this year. Thanks SEWWWWW much for sharing.
