Here's some stuff at found in the recycle room at a local quilt show. Yippee!!

And some bargain fabrics

FYI the tatting does not look like tatting to me, rather crocheting.

The lace is crochet I do both tatting and crocheting. It is not tatting.

Oh thanks for correcting me. I just know it seems reaaallllly time consuming. I appreciate the time and effort that went into it and just love vintage lace, crochet, etc. I'm thinking of appliqueing some to black squares and doing some type of art quilt. But...any ideas? I have plenty of circles!

Circles like that would likely have been made with the intention of joining them together with more crochet to make a tablecloth or dresser scarves or the like. By chance, you didn't get some of the same crochet cotton? There is a possibility you could get some of the same colour ... but just like fabric, it may be slightly different if not bought at the same time.

I made my own tablecoth similar to that when I was married ... and before I had a dining room table. Luckily it fit when the time came!

Its crocheting -- I have made some of them same pieces and my mom made whole tablecloth with them. Wonderful find.
