jljack helped me[ she found more in her stach] with more of the focus material so I could finish this. Thank You sooo much.
I used every piece and did a back too. Only problem was I had to tie it. I don't have the talent or a Gracie to quilt it.
It's the D9P and on the back, in the middle ,I put the way the block looked before it was cut. It's for BFF birthday.
Hope you like it????????????

jljack 06-03-2010 02:25 PM

Very nice! I am so thrilled that I had the fabric for you, and then found more in my stash!! I love being able to help out. Right now kind of limited because of tight $$, but otherwise I like to share. I do owe a couple of others some fabric, as I promised, but can't do it right now. So I am so happy I could help you. I like the pattern and how your quilt turned out!! janice

It took me longer to do the back than the front. Trying to work all the different pieces together. Dh would come home from work and laugh at me trying to figure out how to make it work. I hope NEVER to do that again. lol lol lol.

Shelbie 06-03-2010 05:40 PM

When I first saw your quilt, I thought the back was the front so all of your effort paid off. Your quilt looks great! Why don't you try quilting it on your DM? You could just outline your squares using your walking foot. I find it just as fast to quilt it on my machine than tie it and I always worry about the ties eventually tearing out as they seem to move a little when it's washed.

I thought it would look funny on the back???? It might stop in the middle of a square. Thats why I didn't do that, believe me , i wanted to to that. That is why NO MORE backs like that again lol lol. Do you think it would have looked OK????
