Our outgoing guild president wants cotton crazy quilt blocks. This is mine. Everything came from my stash including the embroidery. I did them while learning to use my embroidery machine. The frog, bow, and snowflake were free standing lace. Ribbons and lace are from my extensive stash of both. The pansy tatting i picked up at a yard sale in a bag of small pieces of lace. The heart I'll put in a short thank you and sign.
What do you think? Is it enough?

12 1/2" square

I've done a little bit of crazy quilting. I have boxes of fancy fabrics. Just haven't had the time to do much of it yet. I learned to embroidery when I was 9 but I did all of this by machine.

Just cut a piece of muslin about 13" - 13 1/2". Then use scraps. Press after each addition and add embroidery, ribbon etc. to each piece before adding the next. The free standing lace (buttons, beads, etc) are added when the block is done. Then trim to 12 1/2". Hand embroidery can be added when the block is finished.
