D9 patch...

...with an attitude, this quilt is a disappearing 9 patch that makes a statement. We quilted Popcorn in the field with a single feather border.
We were going to use white thread but were concerned that the quilt was bold enough already, so we use a light yellow called "sunlight. This quilt has Hobbs 80/20 batting & she wishes to bind it herself. Hopefully these pictures will provide some ideas/inspiration. |

Wow that's a great looking quilt! I like how the dark rectangles make a secondary design and the striped border picks up the quilt colours perfectly. It looks so modern and chic.

You are right...it has attitude! It is wonderful and it has been a long time since I say and black and yellow quilt. That lime green is wonderful...it has the right attitude for sure.

I agree with everyone else that the colors and fabrics are beautiful in the D9P pattern. The striped boarder is perfect too, especially the biased/picture frame corners. And I like the quilting choice you made: not too much, but just right for my taste. thanks for sharing.
