Daughter's 1st completed bed quilt

My baby (30 years old) just created her first king size quilt. She had me quilt it, even though I am far from professional. I love it and so does she. Just needs to bind and then enjoy! I am so proud of her work.

Very pretty. I believe my first quilt was also a log cabin ( many, many years ago). Your DD's colour choices are great. Awesome job by both of you.

Your daughter's quilt is wonderful. I love the colors. I envy you. I wish my daughter and I shared quilting together. But she doesn't have an artistic bone in her body. Don't get me wrong, I am VERY proud of my daughter she just doesn't enjoy quilting. But she does enjoy the quilts I make for her.

I wish at least one of my girls would take up crafts, but nope they did not even thing twise. now my Son, LOL he is 27, he Runs a 40 Head Embroidery Apparel shop, when he needed some date money or truck money I would not just had it to him, I would make him get into the sewing Room and help me to do large apparel orders. so he learned to do all things Embroidery... I got the wrong one of my Kids but hey I got one of them.... |
