DD and SIL both like the Americana colors. They even painted their bedroom to go with this quilt. LAQ Nancine Pike in Winchester VA did the quilting (Swirl and Stars pattern), and I really like how that sets of the colors and pattern on this one. Just pinning binding on now. What do you think?

Beautiful quilt and quilting. I love the tube quilts. I made one a while back and plan to do another and experiment with the placing to see different looks.

I love it. I made a tube quilt table runner and enjoyed working on it.

How many different fabrics would you say you used in this quilt? Thanks - I'm a new quilter and am having a hard time with picking and matching up the colors.

I had collected 1/2 yard pieces of shades of blue and red. Then had lots of yardage of the tan (background).....and I just mixed the blues and reds........I did not have enough of either of my tans, so I used two different ones.....made it a bit more scrappy....
