I can't believe that my "youngest child" (the baby) just turned 30! How could that be possible? Time does fly, doesn't it.
This quilt has been a long time in the making. She wanted something that looked "modern" and I don't know if I achieved that. The blue is the picture doesn't actually look that blue, it is softer more pastel. The backing is a gorgeous print flannel that matched perfectly! I wish I could report that I quilted it, too. Credit for that goes to Wendy at Eagle Mountain Quilting. She does beautiful work and is quite reasonable. I wish I had thought to finish the quilt I started when my dd was 15 for her 30th... maybe I can get it finished for her this year. She'll be happy whenever I get it finished :D |
