Denim QUilt
4 Attachment(s)
Me and my husband spent weeks cutting up jeans. The jeans were our boys clothes that they had outgrown. My mom even gave us jeans from my neices and nephews jeans to add to the quilt. I have made 3 quilts. Each quilt requires 221 6" blocks. the quilts measure 75*95 inches.

Nice! Are they heavy? I've been saving jeans for years just to do this.

Nice denim quilts. You done a good job. I have made & sold several denim quilts. They are a big hit in my area as they are toasty warm. I put fleece on the backs as with fleece you don't have to worry about batting. I have a large supply of denim as everyone I know saves them for me.

Great! Love denim quilts...the first one I made (rag style) is on our bed during cold weather..my husband loves the weight of them.

Great quilt, love that you left the button on.

So cute! I love making these and they are so warm in the winter. Great job!

Awesome! I like how you incorporated the seams and pockets in your blocks too. Gives the quilt interest and personality!

I've made three denim quilts. I put the pockets on top for decoration. I used flannel sheets on the back of them, and no batting.. They are heavy, and warm.. I love them.. I used the machine to tack one of them, and tied the other two..
