This is the design wall my husband and I made. It is a piece of installation from Home Depot. It's pink and foamy. Then we nailed very thin pieces of wood around the outside back. Covered with warm and natural batting and stapled to the back wood. Hung it up and it's great. It is 8 x 4 and I can "stick" fabric/blocks to it or straight pin heavy pieces. See Beach quilt and Sweet and Simple...they are all pinned onto it.

You'll be the envy of all of us with flannel hung with push pins, or those that don't have any wall space!!
