Well, I finished another quilt -- actually have two more ready to bind! What can I say -- it was a good weekend.

Had this material for over a year (got it at my great 2010 Garage Sale find) but had no idea what to do with it. So used a pattern out of the "Sew One and You're Done" book. And I used only primary colors with it! Thanks for looking!

It is a directional print, so had to be careful!

A very good weekend indeed. This quilt is just so cute. Takes me back to childhood. Dick and Jane, learning to read. Thank you for showing.

That was the book, I learn to read from in school also. I had found one at a yard sale before Hurricane Katrina. Gone now.

Loved Sally, Dick and Jane. Wish our kids still learned with them. Manners, social skills, respect for adults, etc. were covered with Sally, Dick and Jane. Our students are missing so much of that.

I love that. I'm 28 and I learned to read with my mom's Dick and Jane primers. :D Lovely quilt

My friend bought a kit with the Dick and Jane fabric when we went to the Des Moines quilt show. I don't think she has finished the quilt though.

This is so cute! I have this fabric too but am waiting on the "right pattern" to use it with. You did a great job with this quilt. :)

I absolutely love it. I saw Dick and Jane squares in a lunch box a couple of years ago and did not spring for it. Have been sorry ever since. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing. Happy Quilting. :-D
