I've had this fabric for awhile trying to decide what to do with it. I finally decided to go bright and cheery with primary colours plus green. I have more motifs left over and I think the next one will be more vintage looking.

I love it.
It's perfect. I've seen that fabric many times and always envisioned it in a primary colored quilt. I'm glad someone with the skills did the job.
Look, Dick, look. See Jane quilt?
I think it's great in the primary colors! Dick and Jane were in primary books so what better way than the bright colors! Great job!
Beautiful quilt, Mamagus. I like the D&J fabric and the bright colors look great with it. I saw a pic of another D&J quilt on another forum and was going to give a link to it BUT I can't find it now.

BTW, is that an Ed Roche painting I see-looks like the King's Cove one--just today,I was looking at his website!!! Is K's Cove one of your favorite areas?

That's so cute and bright! I love that fabric collection!
I think it is absolutely darling. Love the primary colors...it somehow seems so appropriate.
Oh my! I LOVE THIS!!! :-)
I must get some of those Dick & Jane blocks!! :D :D  :D :D
It's beautiful! You did a great job.
yes it is an Ed Roche. Kings Cove circa 1910. In our house we call it Pat Murphy's Meadow because of the folksong, but for obvious copyright reasons, Ed couldn't use that name! My husband and I had one of our first dates in that meadow! And I bought the print for him for our first Christmas together.Quote:
