A Different Kind Of Scrappy Quilt
2 Attachment(s)
I am trying to finish many (too many) UFO's. I have a bad habit of becoming intrigued with a new pattern or a quilt shown on the board and I have to try it. Then I don't finish them. This one I call Bull's Eye On Point. I saw this quilt a few years ago at a friends home. I just had to try it. It is time consuming but I like how it is turning out. Please give me your honest opinion. I can take it. Really!

Beautiful scrappy quilt!
As far as I'm concerned scrappy quilts are the true quilts. Yours is a gem and I like it
very much. Quilts now are made to be looked at and not used, I use my scrappys all the time. |

Very pretty!

It is beautiful!! Reminds of of a Drunkard's Path in my UFO stash. Think I'll dig it out and finish it. Thank you for the motivation!
Beautiful quilt - love the design and colors.
It is very pretty. I can give it a home if you don't like it :-)
I love it, but I will bet it IS time consuming. Beautiful.
Just terrific. great job and thank you for sharing
Have a Blessed day Ellen |
Like you I'm quite intrigued.Do you think you could do a tutorial?Sandy
Oh dear...it belongs in MY house 'cause I like it best! (lol)
I more than "like it." I think it's gorgeous. I've done a "Drunkard's Path," and I know how much work that was. This requires more than that. I love your color combinations, too.
You could send it to me, I would love it ,with all my heart. BEAUTIFUL
This looks very cute. Now I am curious- Are the circle segments sewn so that the edge will ravel and fluff when the quilt is washed? Is that what everyone is referring to as "raw edge?" I have been "circle-phobic," but it seems like it would be more do-able this way, and very charming. Love your color play in this quilt.
I want to make one myself now after seeing yours....never occured to me to do it raw-edge, but that would add such a nice touch and texture to the quilt. Love the colors, too. Its just a lovely quilt!
I am intrigues. Would love to see it after it has been washed.
I love your beautiful quilt. You are doing a wonderful job.
It is pretty. Is it applique?
I think it's pretty and if that's what you have stacked up in UFO's, I think you need to pull them out and finish them up. When you get them finished you'll have a great accomplishment for the year.

That is a beauty!
I really like it. Thanks for sharing.
Honest opinion? It's beautiful. I'd love to know if there's a secret to putting the rounded pieces together. Raw edge applique?
