I made this pattern too and I have to agree I hated every minute of it! The templates didn't seem to fit together very well so my points didn't come out very good. I made it several years ago and now when I look at it I don't hate it as much as I did when I made it. I bet if you look at this picture in a few years you will have better feelings toward it!

Love it! I made one too but mine is queen size. It is definately not a beginner block. Yuo have to be so careful sewing the center block together or you could end up with an "A" cup. ;) The pattern is from "The Big Book of Scrap Quilts". I made mine using a beige batik and lots of dark batiks and FQ's for the stars and geese. It was a chalenge for sure. You did a great job! You should be proud.
