Hi Everybody,
I just acquired this quilt today from a yard sale and im trying to find out if anyone knows what the name of this pattern/block is? The gal at the yard sale where I picked it up thinks her grandmother made it. It is all hand sewn and feed sack was used on the majority of it. Thanks for the help! |
What a cool looking quilt. Lucky you.

Very pretty..she probably made up the pattern herself..I have never seen that pattern in any of the books I have looked thru..I have seen one simular called a cone flower? But the petals hand down on it. crafty_linda_b

I was able to find 'Daisy Quilt" block from 1930's
http://www.nwwone.org/world-war/worl...0601115657.jpg It is also very close to the "Oopsie Daisy" Pattern. I wonder if it is one from the Kansas City Star patterns. It is lovely and you were lucky to get it. |
That seems likely to me.
