I thought I would take the stitches out while it was still on the frame. Interesting to do, but I didn't want to redo the sewing later. I had to adjust my cruise control and finally got the pattern and stitch length I liked.

i skin my quilts all the time on the frame instead of off - its so much easier and quicker on the frame.

i ripit on the frame because i'm too lazy to unload and reload the quilt.

Well if I were to skin a whole quilt or large section... on the frame. For just a row or two, off. But I have zippered leaders so it just takes a minute.

On the frame easier and better lighting. and no hauling quilt that keeps sliding off table.
