My oldest granddaughter (who is 16 now) always covered her dolls with receiving blankets too. I was working full time then and didn't sew as much as I do now so she didn't have a special doll quilt from her Muzzie (me.) She still has her dolls so it is time to make her a keepsake doll quilt.

I came across some "Olivia" fabric the other day and asked my DIL what I should do with it for her DD, Olivia. Make her a doll quilt was her reply as she's always covering up babies with towels, etc. Guess this Granny better get sewing! |
