My oldest granddaughter (who is 16 now) always covered her dolls with receiving blankets too. I was working full time then and didn't sew as much as I do now so she didn't have a special doll quilt from her Muzzie (me.) She still has her dolls so it is time to make her a keepsake doll quilt.
