I pieced this.....but I didn't see it.
Pressed it it.....didn't see it.
Layed it out....didn't see it.
Assembled it....didn't see it.
Took a photo ...... I saw it.
How come I only saw this through the camera lens and not 'in the flesh'?

Unpicked and fixed it, but it's not the same. I think all beginner tutorial books should have a section on fixing stuff-ups. :-(

Do you see what I see?

Boy....I had a hard time finding it and you told me it was there!

Took me looking several times before I spotted it. Beautiful quilt. Sometimes it is a matter of walking away. I've seen tips that people actually recommend taking a picture to aide in laying out things. I think it's a brain thing!

I had to really look for something. I still don't think what I see was a mistake, looks like it was suppose to be that way. Just because the pattern says one way, it looks great your way.

Me too. Hey aren't you suppose to do that, LOL. We use to call it the Devils Eye. I have been told the Amish use to do it on purpose, because nothing is perfect.

There are 2 of them, did you notice?

Each quilt has a character all of their own, it makes it yours. I like it just as it is. Very nice.

I see it but I would of left it, I think you did a great job on this quilt an if people seen it I would tell them I did it that way so I would know it was my work....

JJs 01-12-2010 09:31 AM

I see two of them turned 'wrong'.... one on the left, one on the right...
And don't feel bad, I have a quilt I made 20 years ago, been used on our bed countless times, etc, etc, it wasn't until I took a picture two years ago that the error of a mis-turned block leaped out at me!

Go figure... LOL
