Here is my Downy's Quilts for Kids Quilt that I finished.

I ran out of fabric for the border (it was a stripe pattern) so I have to use what was left over...... I think it worked out well!

I hope the child that receives this quilt loves Karate!

Very cute! I have not seen that label before is this a recent kit you got? Wondering if they changed thier label, I like that it has a spot for your name on it.

Very nice. My label does not look like that either. I just finished the quilting. I did not get any binding with my kit but have cut out some fabric from my stash. Just need to get the binding on!! (and finish the other 2 I whipped up)

I did not get binding either I think that is one of the things you have to do along with the batting. Unless you want to use the backing as the binding, but mine didnt go with the front so I did not do it that way.

Mine does ;-) You all have convinced me to send in for a kit. I think I'm going to teach my little neighbor friend to quilt with it. I know she will be motivated by the cause. This may help her as much or more than the recipient.

My daughter hates sewing, but she loved the idea. I think she may be warming up to the idea. Hoping!

I hadn't seen that fabric before. Definitely for a boy -oops - a sexist remark - could be for a girl too. Sorry!
