The fabric at the new place I'm using for quilting is $8-$9.60 a yard. BUT, there's a spot on the stairs that's $5 and if it's on the lower level it's $1 more off. So, one of these was $3.75 a yard. The one batch with the daisies is all Thimbleberries. The fat quarters were $1 each. I didn't think that was too bad. I'll also post the fabrics for the next quilt top I have planned--same pattern as Sunny Day and the Sunflower one that's at the quilter's now. I bought the light green there--not on sale, but I only bought 3/4 yard. I couldn't decide on the 5th color, and this green actually came with the big print! I didn't know it exists; seemed like a safe bet.

It's getting nice and the mud is drying so much of my quilting time will be replaced with working horses and gardening soon.

Here's the plan for the next top--might be awhile before it's finished. I'm sewing the bindings the last two now... almost done.

It took a LONG time to decide on the 5 strip colors.

Karla, if its possible, this quilt will be even prettier than the last sunny day quilt! I'm with you...the weather is telling me that the garden is calling. Its hard this year....if I go out, Howard wants to also and he doesn't need to right now. He thinks he can start the tiller for me... NO, NO, NO! (I've already sweet talked our yard guy into tilling for me..just to keep Howard out of trying to yank on that cord!!)

Have fun with the new quilt..you'll be done with it before you start gardening...you are soooo speedy!
