What a beautiful job you did on your quilt. You must be proud of your work!
It is amazing!
Never would I have finished without the QB FWSQ group and support...it tells a story with each block, as posted on the FWSQ each week...and true of the PC weekly posts as well. They are a wonderful group, talented more than me, to help and encourage with every stitch along the way.
What a gorgeous quilt. I love your quilting, too. I'd say you are very talented yourself. That is an amazing accomplishment you did....you should be very proud. Thank you for sharing!

Such a beautiful quilt!!!!!
QNSue ... I'm so in awe of your quilt! The colours/fabrics are so bright and cheery ... and evenly balanced throughout!! And you know how I like the way you handled the borders. Now, you'll have to get your PC booked in for it's quilting. You've been a great inspiration to me ... and helped to keep me on both the trails thru to the end. Bless you, for your friendship and support. I can't say a big enough thank you to you!! :D
You made a beautiful quilt. Many of us can only dream of making a quilt like that
I am impressed/
QNS your quilt is an amazing work of art, but then I am a little biased. Loved your stories to go with each block and it was an absolute pleasure to be with you and everyone else on our quilting journey....
May the next ride we take be as enjoyable as the last two, you are a quilting goddess:thumbup: |
This is truly an amazing quilt. Thanks for sharing.
Each block came out great.
Beautiful! I have that book but haven't decided to takle it yet!

I have just been dribbling over my keyboard... that is an astounding piece of work. Thank you so much for sharing it with us :)
absoutley gorgeous!!!!

What a colorful quilt by a colorful lady LOL. You kept us motivated and laughing during our "ride". This city gal loved all of your farm stories and recipes.
Truly an awesome quilt. Just a reminder to other quilters, these are all 6" finished size blocks. QNS is a talented lady! |
Thanks for sharing. It's beautiful! I just got one of these in on Sunday. She wants each block custom quilted!
Wow! Wow! Wow!!!!! Amazing work!
!!!!!Congratulations!!!!!
you have done an INCREDIBLE job :D the quilt is almost as incredible as YOU :) |
This is extraordionary! Never mind taking 2 years, it would take me 2+ decades!
A Big Thank you to all for your wonderful words. Especially those on the 'trail' with me...you really know how much work was involved with each block and whole quilt 'cause you have done it too. Yes, Creekside Quilting lady, Jeanie, did a great job of machine quilting, a bit more than I asked for, but cannot fault any of her stitching, 'cause she did a great job, then helped pin it on the vertical display in their store for the pictures. Best of service at their store...love it!!
My fellow PC riders have said it all! I have nothing to add ;) I LOVE it!
I doubt I will ever have such dedication to a single project. Its beautiful. Thanks for sharing !
QNS...you inspire me to finish my FWS. Yours is just beautiful!
WOW!! What patience you have--gorgeous!
What you don't see is a closeup QNS's ability to fussy cut fabric and what you don't hear is her ability to wind a good tale around the block. Truly a delight to sew with:)
Your quilt is amazing. I love your colors too. I tried to make of few of those blocks, but I am not accurate enough to sew those small blocks, I will keep practicing and one day . . .
love, love it. What an awesome quilt!!
QNS, I am speechless!!!! I'm trying to figure out which words to use to describe my reaction to seeing your completed quilt.....you not only did the 111 blocks you added to it to make 145 6" blocks...Amazing!!!
The quilt is so colorful and the placement of the blocks is so, so... done so well...each one tells it's own story..all of us on this journey enjoyed the weekly tale told by you....Congratulations!!! |

I did some new shots of the details and fuzzy cutting mentioned by my fellow FWSQ and PC group:Contrary husband, not a contrary wife!Little Boy Blue Open barn door. Hovering Hawks
for a total over 145 blocks each finished 6 inch size. Each depicting farm life in childhood, nursery rhymes, state of birth, and 46 years of marriage. |
This is a stunning quilt. I could look at it over and over.
